What issues can the counsellor help our pupils with?

Often pupils will be struggling with issues such as self-harm, extreme anxiety, eating disorders, depression, behavioural challenges or bereavement.

How many sessions do we need to book?

All counselling sessions are 50 mins long.  Initially they are set up once a week, for a period of six weeks. At the end of the six week period, the counsellor and pupil will agree if a further six sessions would be beneficial.

Where does the counselling take place?

Counselling takes place either online in the comfort and privacy of the pupils home, or on-site in a quiet room within your school.  It can be booked for a pupil in addition to our tuition or as a stand alone service.

How is it funded?

Funding tends to be sourced from the pupil premium or higher needs funding available to the child.  We then invoice your school accounts department on a monthly basis.

How much does it cost?

Our fifty min online rate for a fully qualified BACCP accredited counsellor is  £55 plus VAT.

If you would prefer to have a counsellor available to your pupils within your school, we also offer a more cost effective day rate of £250 plus VAT (max. 5 pupils).

How quickly can the counselling be set up?

We aim to have counselling in place within

48 hours of booking.
