JODIE DEVLIN
FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER
DIRECTOR & DESIGNATED SAFEGUARDING LEAD OFFICER
Jodie established Outreach Tuition in 2018 to offer a therapeutic, nurturing and creative approach to an increasingly linear education system.
She has a strong teaching background and experience leading the tuition and sixth day provision in Pupil Referral Units in Kent.
Jodie operates with integrity and warmth, her strategic vision provides a unique and powerful solution with life-changing outcomes.
HARRIET CHINNAPPA
FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER
DEVELOPMENT CONSULTANT
Harriet was our first ever tutor to join Outreach Tuition 4 years ago! She has been with us right from the start and is now an integral decision maker for the company.
Harriet qualified from Canterbury Christ Church University as an English teacher with Qualified Teacher Status. During her PGCE she was learning to teach in the same placement secondary school as our Director.
Harriet is now instrumental, assisting us in the development side of the organisation.
ANGELA JUDD
SCHOOL LIASON MANAGER
Angela is our super friendly, bubbly, School Liason Manager. She supports all of our primary and secondary school customers across Kent and Surrey. Usually speaking with SENCO's, Deputy Headteachers and often parents, taking care of any day to day queries that they may have.
HOLLY WHITE
SCIENCE & MATHS TUTOR
Holly qualified from Canterbury Christ Church University as a Science teacher with Qualified Teacher Status. During her PGCE she was learning to teach in the same placement secondary school as our Director and our Development Consultant!
Holly went on to become Head of Science and subject leader for Chemistry, in a Kent secondary school. Holly joined the Outreach team in 2021 after starting a family and we are thrilled to have her on board.
NICKY HAYWARD
HAIR & BEAUTY TUTOR
Nicky has been hairdressing for over 35 yrs and delivering education courses for over 5 yrs at her Academy in Medway. She is NLP trained and an education specialist in hair extensions and mesh integration
Nicky’s passion is helping others to build life skills and a better future for themselves.
She prides herself in being kind, compassionate, friendly and approachable.
Nicky always like to work towards growth for the future in every aspect, building dreams and goal setting.

DI HARVEY
FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER
Di has been working as a tutor at Outreach for 4 years now and has recently been promoted to Head of Teaching & Training.
She gained her PGCE from Canterbury Christ Church University before teaching GCSE English in schools and college in Maidstone.
Prior to teaching, Di has an exciting background in Journalism. Her aspiration
is to give every pupil a chance for success whatever their educational experiences have been.
MATHS & SCIENCE TUTOR
DON ANDREWS
FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER
Don has spent most of his career as the Head of maths within a special school for Autism in Kent. We are very lucky to have his expertise on board.
He finds tutoring to be extremely fulfilling and loves seeing the incredible progress that his learners make.
MATHS & ENGLISH TUTOR
JOY OZOBIA
FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER
Joy is a very friendly, kind and patient teacher. She has a wealth of experience teaching in prisons, colleges and schools.
She joined the Outreach team in 2020 and has shown that she is particularly skilled at tutoring hard to reach, disengaged pupils.
MATHS TUTOR
MIA HARVEY
Mia has been teaching maths with Outreach for 3 years now. She specialises in supporting pupils with the foundation and higher GCSE, as well as the 11 plus Kent test.
She is a fantastic mentor and educator, building her learners self confidence and watching them grow.
FULLY QUALIFIED COUNSELLOR
JANE BATEMAN-BROWN
Jane is our BACP accredited counsellor. She has a wealth of experience providing counselling to vulnerable young people suffering from self-harm, depression, anxiety and past traumatic events.
She is passionate about helping teenagers to make sense of their past experiences,
feel happier, safer and stronger.
PRIMARY TEACHER
JO STEVENSON
Jo is a fully qualified, Maidstone based, primary school teacher. She really enjoys bringing learning to life and seeing the progress her pupils are making.
Jo is currently available for our primary pupils as well as some lower ability secondary pupils.
ENGLISH TUTOR
MELISSA SAXBY
Melissa is an English teacher with a PGCE in English and Drama from The Institute of Education, London. She’s worked in grammar schools in Kent and a number of schools in Hong Kong.
She really enjoys working one-to-one, at the student’s pace, helping them to be the best that they can be.
