Outreach Tuition offer specialist tutoring and mentoring that provides extra support to looked after children and children with SEND.  Often the young people that we work with, have barriers to education and are unable to access a mainstream curriculum.

We work in your school or off-site (at the student's home, local library or online) providing pupils with 1:1 or group tuition.

Outreach Tuition partners with primary schools, secondary schools, alternative educational providers and colleges.  We offer a tailored, cost-effective solution, supporting students facing challenges such as:

  • Special Educational Needs

  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs

  • Autistic Spectrum Disorder (diagnosed or undiagnosed)

  • Other medical conditions

  • School refusal

Outreach Tuition are an Early Intervention Service and best accessed when a student's behaviour has reached a level where a Pastoral Support Plan (PSP) or equivalent is being considered.  Schools can refer pupils who are awaiting a place at a special school or pupils who are displaying challenging behaviour.  This may be evidenced by an increase in internal exclusions, poor attendance, lack of engagement and poor attitude to learing.  These most vulnerable pupils are able to continue 'on roll' with your institution, whilst we deliver a full home curriculum of:

  • Maths Functional Skills and GCSE

  • English Functional Skills and GCSE Literature and Lang

  • Science GCSE

  • History GCSE

  • Art & Design GCSE

  • Finance

Your pupils are able to sit their Functional Skills exams in their home under our invigilation, up to to Entry 3 level.  Year 11's can also sit their Art GCSE exam in their own home.  For Functional Skills Level 1& 2 plus GCSE's, we have an exam centre in Maidstone where your pupils can sit their exams if necessary.

Unlike other tuition agencies, we specialise in working with vulnerable pupils.  We email attendance through to your schools Attendance Officer on a daily basis.  Our hourly price is fully inclusive of tuition, travel and report writing.

We understand that schools and authorities need to make the most of hard-pressed budgets, so we work in partnership to devise the highest-standard tuition programmes, at the best price.

All of our subject specialist tutors are screened and vetted to the Department for Education’s rigorous standards.
